Solar power for a sustainable holiday

Our modern photovoltaic system with battery storage supplies a large share of the energy we need – especially in the summer months, we are almost energy self-sufficient.

We use surplus solar power intelligently:

  • for heating water,
  • for charging electric cars (for guests, right on site),
  • and for our eco-friendly robotic lawnmower.

Energy-efficient renovation & eco-friendly infrastructure

Our house has been comprehensively brought up to date:

  • Newly insulated roof
  • Modern double-glazed windows
  • Thermal insulation on the exterior walls
  • Energy-saving LED lighting throughout the building
  • Water-saving fittings in showers and washbasins
  • Heating and hot water from eco-friendly district heating

Naturally pure drinking water – completely plastic-free

Our tap water comes straight from the Raintal springs on the Kitzbüheler Horn – the purest mountain spring water, additionally revitalised according to the Grander principle. This high-quality water is available throughout the house – without any plastic bottles. Together, we avoid unnecessary waste.

Sustainable mobility for our guests

✔ Cycling and hiking trails right from the house
✔ One free return trip on the Harschbichl gondola in summer
